Hello Fellow Fisherman,

This Letter is to bring in the new fishing season aboard the DIAMOND J, and to say thank you for your support in the past season. I hope you and your family had a good Holiday Season.

I would like to take a moment to talk about last years, Spring fishing; April and May started off like every typical year out of Sodus Point, with some very nice Browns being caught along the shorelines. The cold weather did not stop us from boating limits on a regular base. The month of June was like a dream come true to a fisherman. “Limit Catches”of good size fish were very common. The fish averaged from 8 to 21 lbs. and left many good memories. The month of July saw mature Kings come in good numbers early. That allowed us to send people home with a large variety of fish.

The fall fishing was as one can imagine with Kings setting reels on fire, this year the largest was 34 lbs. along with the excellent Lake Trout fishing off- shore up at the river. The bite this year for the Kings was off at the River. I had to do some things a little different, and it worked out great fishing for the Lake Trout. The largest was 27 lb. and there was a number of 20-23 lbs. caught along with10 -20 lbs. All but a couple of trips left with their limits of Lake Trout along with a couple Kings each day.

This year there will be some new changes to the 10 Meter Trojan. I will be placing new carpet at the helm area. There will be two new coolers this year.

Well I must leave now to prepare to attend some outdoor shows, I hope to see many of your excited faces there, if not then on board the Diamond J this season. The good dates for this coming season are going fast, call soon so you are not disappointed.
